II Field notes

Where he lives

Baby Roo picked a patch of moss and decided that was home, boots and all. He sits cross-legged in the sunlight most afternoons, watching leaves fall like it's the best show in the forest.

What he notices

Those big purple eyes notice everything, especially if you forgot to smile today. They have also seen your snack, and would like some.

How to greet him

People say hello to him the way you'd greet a very small, very serious neighbour. Quietly. He saves the warmest patch of moss for whoever shows up last.
